Bathing Steps

Bathing is an important activity for dogs with healthy skin and a healthy coat, the most common reason to bathe is to remove an unpleasant odour or because they’ve accumulated dirt on their coat

Washing

1. Start slowly with low pressure warm water.

2. Brush your dog’s hair. This will make it easier for you to rinse and lather your pup up with shampoo.

3. Wash from the neck and shoulders down to the paws.

4. Fill your palm with an natural organic shampoo formulated for dogs.

5. Apply the shampoo to the base of your dog’s skull. Avoiding his eyes, massage into a lather around his head and chest.

6. Rinse your dog thoroughly from head to tail until the water runs clear.

7. This step isn’t always necessary, if you want your dog's coat is naturally soft and silky you can apply conditioner in the same way you did the shampoo and let it sit as long as the instructions recommend, then rines well.

Drying

1. There are two basic ways to dry your dog with a blow dryer or a towel.

2. Be sure to dry your dog off after a bath to avoid discomfort.

3. Use a clean towel to dry the coat after a soothing shower

4. If your pup is long-haired, a blow dryer will effectively dry the coat.
